this is something that i have been doing for a while. Some people think it is pretty cool so i have decided to write a pimp tutorial on how to do it. i dont think its that hard and you shouldn't have any trouble doing it. [link] is the link to the models stock that i used. thank you to her for that.

dude... im busy trying this... it looks freakin cool...
i have a problem though

i merge the 2 layers, make a new layer, put the new transparent layer underneath the merged layer, lighten the merged layer... but the image doesnt bleed through when i use my brushes

do you know what could be wrong?

Yup, I know this tutorial is old as hell but I still want to say thats a very nice technique
